1970's

  • 1975  Moran Industries, Inc. is founded and incorporated by John “Jack” D. Moran Sr. and Maureen F. Moran in Muncy, PA with the opening of a 250,000 square foot warehouse
  • 1978  Moran acquires 400,000 square foot warehousing facility in Montgomery, PA

1980's

  • 1983  Moran acquires 1,000,030 square foot warehousing complex in Watsontown, PA
  • 1988  John D. Moran, Jr. graduates from Kings College and joins company full time as Executive Vice President

1990's

  • 1990  Moran begins offering transportation services
    1992  Moran expands to Mountain Top, PA with the opening of a 200,000 square foot facility
  • 1994  Moran expands Mountain Top facility to 400,000 square feet
  • 1996   Moran opens a second location in Mountain Top, PA with opening of a new 105,000 square foot facility
  • 1996  Moran expands Watsontown campus with the opening of a new 63,000 square foot warehouse facility
  • 1999  Moran expands Watsontown campus with the construction of a new 40,000 square foot warehouse facility

2000's

  • 2000 Moran expands Watsontown campus with the construction of a new 58,000 square foot warehouse facility
  • 2002  Moran opens new corporate offices and company headquarters in Watsontown
    2002  Moran expands Watsontown campus with construction of new 100,000 square foot warehouse facility
  • 2004  Moran installs The Exceed 4000 Tier 1 Warehouse Management System 
  • 2005  Moran expands operations to White Deer, PA with opening of 130,000  square foot facility and to Sunbury, PA with opening of 120,000 square foot facility
  • 2006  Moran opens 250,000 square foot warehousing facility in Williamsport, PA
  • 2007  Moran expands Watsontown campus with opening of new 130,000 square foot facility
  • 2008  Moran secures an additional 105 acres in Watsontown in order provide rail service and expand existing operations

2010's

  • 2010  Moran opens 504,000 square foot warehousing facility in Mechanicsburg, PA
  • 2011  Moran builds North America’s largest indoor synthetic mud plant and logistics center in Williamsport, PA
  • 2011  Moran opens two logistic centers designed to service the natural gas industry in Montgomery, PA
  • 2012  Moran opens an additional 150,000 square foot warehousing facility in Williamsport, PA 
  • 2012  Moran opens 283,000 square foot warehouse facility in New Columbia, PA
  • 2014  Moran acquires the former Capitol View Commerce Center in Harrisburg, PA - a 215,000 sq. ft. facility of Flexible Mixed-Use Light Industrial/Commercial & Retail space
  • 2014  Moran begins offering Rental Equipment Services to support the Marcellus Shale Gas industry  
  • 2015  Moran acquires 283,000 square foot warehouse facility in Gettysburg, PA
  • 2015 Moran acquires 197,000 square foot Warehousing Facility in Montgomery, PA
  • 2017  Moran opens new state of the art Transportation Fleet service facility in Watsontown, PA
  • 2018  John D. Moran, III graduates from The American University Kogod School of Business and begins career at the company, making Moran Industries, Inc. a three-generation family owned and operated company
  • 2018 Moran Industries, Inc. completes a corporate rebranding and now begins doing business as Moran Logistics  
  • 2019 Moran Logistics is awarded Pennsylvania Keystone Opportunity Zone (KOZ) Status for its newest facility, a state of the art 420,000 square foot Warehousing & Distribution center in Watsontown, PA.
  • 2019 Moran Logistics purchases 166 Acres of land at The Great Stream Commons Industrial Park in Allenwood, PA to accommodate growth of the company (capacity for up to 1.7 million square feet of new construction)

2020s

  • 2020 Moran Logistics partners with with the biggest names in supply chain software technology to launch new cutting edge Warehouse and transportation Management Systems
  • 2020 Moran begins offering climate controlled logistics services with the opening of a 105,000 square feet refrigerated warehouse in Mechanicsburg, PA and the addition of a refrigerated van trailer transportation fleet 
  • 2021 Moran opens an additional 252,000 square feet warehouse in Mechanicsburg, PA
  • 2022 Moran acquires a rail served 250,000 square feet Distribution center in Williamsport, PA
  • 2023 Moran Logistics spins off its transportation division into a new wholly owned subsidiary, ML Transportation LLC
  • 2023 Moran Logistics breaks ground on new 1,575,600 square feet distribution center in The Great Stream Commons Industrial Park in Allenwood, PA. Phase 1 of the facility (515,700 Square Feet) set to open in spring 2024.
  • 2023 Moran Logistics opens a new 667,510 square feet distribution center in York, PA
